Pillar Three · Relationships & Boundaries
Healthy relationships, boundaries, communication, dating, and sister-to-sister support. Equip Her teaches members what healthy actually looks like — in dating, in friendship, and in the sisterhood itself.
Most women are taught how to be chosen. Equip Her teaches them how to choose — and how to be chosen well.
These are the conversations members actually want to have — facilitated with honesty, warmth, and zero judgment.
The Sister Support Toolkit. Every Equip Her session connects to Sorellahood's signature member resource — Red Flags, Check On Your Sister, Bystander Tools, If She Tells You, Digital Safety, and a Resource Hub with clear pathways for relationship concerns, sexual violence, mental health, and campus help.
These two anchors bookend the school year's highest-stakes relationship seasons — and they're natural re-engagement points for chapters that started with the fall Red Zone Initiative.
Relationship programming fails when it feels like a lecture from someone who doesn't remember college. Equip Her works because it's real talk with a big-sister tone — members bring their actual questions, and leave with language they'll use in actual conversations. Chapters tell us these sessions spark the best late-night dorm talks of the semester.
Questions
Not at all. Equip Her is pro-healthy-relationship. We celebrate green flags as much as we name red ones — the goal is members who date with confidence, clarity, and self-respect, whatever their relationship choices.
Equip Her includes consent and coercion awareness, but Sorellahood programming is educational and is not a substitute for required university or organizational Title IX training. It's a powerful complement to — not a replacement for — your campus requirements.
October (healthy relationships and red flags) and February (dating, consent, and self-worth) are the natural anchors — but relationship topics resonate any time of year, especially around formals and recruitment.
Sessions always include clear, private pathways to support — campus resources, the Sister Support Toolkit's Resource Hub, and the Elina Health network. Members learn how to help themselves and how to help a sister, with safety and privacy first.
Equip Her is one pillar of a year-round partnership — book an October or February session, or build it into your chapter's whole year.
